Clean it up!

In response to Natalie, the blog is a forum for all who want to discuss local issues. Please try to use appropriate language, this is a public site - I have noticed the two comments posted by those in favor of WC practices have used similar foul language - hmmm. Be appropriate - even if you are in favor of WC breaking the law on your behalf!

Also I noticed a setting needed changing as to posted comments needing review prior to posting - I have corrected the setting so as to allow anyone to comment - and publish immediately. - All apologies to those who's comments didn't post immediately - Keep Posting!!

Wolf Creek - Breakin' the Law!

Wow! I just read Shanna's article in the OVN regarding illegality of nightly & weekly rentals of single family residences here in the Valley - great article! And what to my wandering eyes should apear?...Wolf Creek, the Big Bad Wolf, is knowingly one of the biggest perpetraters of this! Just go to their site www.valleylodging.com for the huge list of homes they rent! A cease and desist injunction may just be what the doctor ordered on this one... which will be quite a bummer to the nice folks who booked their summer retreats already at WC! I can't believe that Steve Roberts knows that he is breaking the law, but is doing it anyway!

Sounds like there may be some insurance fraud occuring in this scheme as well....ouch!

ReZone Application Tabled

The County Commissioners have tabled for two weeks the 174 acre zoning application. They need to have their legal counsel review the Appeal we submitted. This is some small success in further disrupting the Big Bad Wolf! Who's afraid of the Big Bad Wolf...sing it with me! Not me... This process will have drug on now for nearly 3 months - which is tiring out the Eden Valley Land Group (Howard Schmidt & partners) - who now seem willing to sit back down at the table and work out some appeasement....

OV News Readers - Welcome!

For those of you who saw the latest OV News, and read the article which led you here - welcome! The goal of this blog is to create awareness of the issues that concern residents in and around Wolf Creek. We have established this site to create a forum for residents to relay issues, which as a larger whole we can hopefully gain Wolf Creek attention. We need to have a united voice in issues of clean drinking water, sewage management, infrastructure reliability, and other basic necessities - which should be a given in such a development!
